Download speeds can reach 200 Kbps, EDGE service has wide coverage, card is usually free or cheap after rebates.
Dislikes
Coverage has enough holes to be frustrating, falls back to extremely slow speeds at times, no official Mac or Linux support, service plans are pricey.
Good for
Windows-based road warriors who spend most of their time in major metropolitan areas.
Bad for
Mobile users who wander off the beaten track, those who need to upload large files frequently, Mac and Linux users who need proper technical support.
