Welcome to the E2
Below the bright and colorful 320-by-320-pixel display, which does a surprisingly good job of showing photos and video, are a five-way navigator and four programmable application buttons that initially take you to the Calendar, Contacts, Tasks, and Note Pad. On either side of the writing area in the middle are Home, Menu, Favorites, and Search softkeys. The five-way navigator makes one-handed operation easy, so you can tap the stylus with the other hand.

The Ins and Outs
The E2's power button, infrared port, stereo headphone jack, and SD expansion card slot are at the top of the unit, while the USB multi-connector and power adapter ports are at the bottom. No cradle is supplied with the E2, although you can buy one separately. The USB cable has an integrated HotSync button. A flip cover and plastic screen protector are included in the box.
